3HLW on a guided tour through Graz

Right before the school’s fall break, class 3 HLW went on a trip to Graz to explore the Old Town, hike Castle Hill and enjoy some delicious food at the well-known Irish Pub Flann O’Brien. As this was an “English-only” – day trip, our tour guide informed us about the most important sights in the Old Town of Graz in English, ranging from the castle and seat of the Styrian government to the “Bermuda triangle”, the main square and “hell’s quarters”.
We practiced restaurant dialogues in the Irish Pub and ordered typically Irish meals like cottage pie, Guinness beef stew, and cole slaw and spicy wedges as side dishes, and cheese cake for dessert, of course. And yes, we did enjoy our meals! J
