This year’s English week, attended by the 3HLW and the 2AL, took place from the 13th till the 20th of September 2019 in Malta. The sunny island in the Mediterranean Sea turned out to be the perfect destination for all those who wanted to experience an unforgettable language trip. During this adventurous trip the students were not only able to improve their English skills at the Gateway School of English, but they were also living with host families to learn more about the Maltese lifestyle habits. Furthermore, our students had the chance to gain an insight into the Maltese culture, which has been offering various cultural influences for many years.
Unique islands
Individual shopping tours and a treasure hunt in Valletta, the capital city of Malta, enabled the participants to learn a lot about its history and enjoy this unique island on their own. Besides visiting the island of Malta, they were also introduced to the neighboring islands Gozo and Comino, whose crystal-clear seashores and beautiful sandy beaches will definitely be remembered for a lifetime. Due to all these countless moments this English week has been a very instructive, exciting and fun experience for everyone
