Language Week in Malta

Strolling along the charming streets of Valletta, exploring the ancient cities of Birgu and Vittoriosa, or enjoying hot chocolate in one of Mdina’s most popular coffeehouses—Malta’s ancient capital, also known as “The Silent City”—there is no doubt that this Mediterranean island offers a variety of cultural attractions for every taste.
From picturesque coastlines and historic sites to the bustling street life around student learning centres, Malta has something for everyone.

Local language school ESE

Studying English at the local language school ESE in its engaging and interactive learning environment was both an easy and enjoyable experience for the students of the 2HLW.
By staying with host families, they gained valuable insights into everyday life in Malta and had the opportunity to try some typical Maltese specialties, such as pastizzi-flaky pastries filled with ricotta or peas—or imqaret, a sweet pastry filled with dates and orange zest. For those with a sweet tooth, a taste of kannoli—crispy pastry tubes filled with sweet ricotta—is an absolute must.

All in all, a language trip to Malta is much more than just improving one’s English skills—it’s an unforgettable intercultural and culinary experience in the heart of the Mediterranean!
